Weaving narratives of resistance from marginalized bodies within Higher Education
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article explores the stories of resistance of three students from historically marginalized groups at the University of Caldas: an indigenous, an Afro-descendant and an LGBTQ+ student. Through their testimonies, it analyzes how these students challenge the oppressive and exclusionary structures they face at the university and also the similarities in the students' experiences, as well as the differences in their resistance strategies. Finally, we reflect on the importance of resistance narratives in understanding the experiences of marginalized groups and the importance of implementing university policies that promote inclusion and support for these students.
