And what is this for? Young university students and investigative literacies

Abstract
This research had the purpose of analyzing the way in which investigative-academic literacies are constructed in university programs of the area of the social sciences, in three public universities of the north, center and south of Mexico. As research techniques of a qualitative orientation methodology, the observations, interviews, focus groups and documentary collection were applied. The results indicate that despite students are able to develop some investigative skills, they are not participating in the practices and meanings of the researchers of their discipline, which hinders the construction of an identity as researchers or future researchers.
