Abstract

Historic evolution of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the development of Mexican Higher Education Institutions can be observed in the scientific discourse that in a public manner has taken place in the country in the last decades. In this article we show the results of a documental research in which, by means of a Qualitative Data Analysis program, 2441 texts that have been published in 180 numbers of the ANUIES´ Revista de la Educación Superior between 1972 and 2016 have been analyzed with the aim of finding the presence of ICT and its related notions.
