Abstract

This article responds to Unesco's approach of considering Higher Education as a common good, at a time when Higher Education Institutions are immersed in processes characterized by a progressive commodification of knowledge that conditions access to financing by positioning in international ranks, putting at risk the object of contributing to sustainable development in their contexts. Through a particular analysis of aspects related to social responsibility and the relationship with stakeholders, a contribution is made to the theoretical reflection and challenges to conceptualize Higher Education as a common good.
