Abstract

This article seeks to know in Chilean university students, what is the importance they give to others in their decision-making. A questionnaire is applied that includes a prosociality scale and questions about job projections, these data are worked on by cross-referencing variables and cluster analysis. In addition to the above, interviews are added to deepen what has been collected, which are analyzed through constant comparison. The results indicate a high prosociality, which could demonstrate a shift from an asocial individuation to an individuation where concern for oneself is not contrary to an interest in others.
