Abstract

Trends in temporary mobility of university students is examined for the 2010-2019 period, based on a systematic review of international student mobility data in Mexico. The analysis builds on data provided by the main sources of information on the subject, the Patlani Survey and the Base 911 reports. Results include ITESM as the university with the highest participation in international student mobility. Despite the trend of private universities leading international student mobility, the participation of public universities began standing out considerably. However, less than 1% of the enrollment in Mexican universities participated in temporary international student mobility during the period analyzed.
