Reviewing higher education from the perspective of Higher Education Institutions, based on the guiding criteria of the National Policy for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present a proposal for Higher Education Institutions, which guarantees the incorporation of the guiding criteria of higher education, indicated in the National Policy for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education, with the purpose of contributing to the effectiveness in the evaluation and continuous improvement of Higher Education Institutions. The documentary methodology has been used, with the analysis of the regulatory framework and national public policies of higher education in Mexico; As a result, a management model for Higher Education Institutions is presented that transversally incorporates these guiding criteria.
