Abstract

Critical Thinking (CT) is an important skill in higher education because it allows students to arrive at justified conclusions, make informed decisions, and efficiently solve problems when facing personal, academic, and social issues. This study focuses on identifying the main barriers to the development of CT and proposing actions to overcome them. It is determined that progress in the development of this competence is a complex process, so it is important for higher education institutions to take measures to fully exploit the potential of CT to improve the lives of students and social well-being.
