Abstract

The article presents a narrative review of sexual harassment in university contexts. Studies suggest that it is a frequently normalized problem and mainly affects women. The research has focused on the prevalence of harassment, its consequences, the reactions of victims, the characteristics of harassed persons and those who harass. Recently, forms of collective action developed by feminist collectives to address the problem have become visible, as well as prevention and care actions implemented by universities. Problems of construct validity are identified as there is no consensus among researchers on how to define and measure sexual harassment.
