Abstract

In recent decades, access to Higher Education institutions has been the subject of important research. With the present study, which analyzes the process of university transition, comparing the cases of Spain and Argentina, it is intended to contribute, from the present and into the future, to the sociopolitical development and the organizational construction of political strategies for access to the University. The case study, as a methodological tool of the first order, offers an empirical-interpretative approach to the international comparative field. The results show significant differences in the tests, requirements and access models between the countries analyzed.
