Abstract

Ensuring gender equality in education is part of the task of teaching and teachers must be trained to do so. The aim of the study was to find out whether future teachers receive training on gender during their time at university. A systematic review was carried out in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.  The sample consisted of 16 articles. The results indicate that the demand for gender training is increasingly requested by students, especially women, although institutions are not really incorporating it into their curricula.
