Abstract

The article describes the international influence of Latin American experts of higher education and the global agencies, both modeling higher education reforms under the 90’s neoliberal administrations in the region. In order to enlightening the different meanings for the application of higher education reforms, local responses have been taken into account. Particularly, it is depicted the public policies of evaluation and accreditation of higher education and its differentiated impact in the Argentinean case.
