Industry partnerships by Agricultural Institutions of Higher Education (AIHE)-productive sectors. The case of the professional residency at the Technological Institute of the Tlaxcala Plateau (ITAT)

Abstract

For almost two decades, Higher Education Institutions (hei) in Mexico have tried to bind efforts with society and companies.
In this context, the Sistema Nacional de Institutos Tecnológicos reliant to the Secretaría de Educación Pública (sep), with the necessity to reinforce the entailment between higher education and productive sectors, assigned professional curricula residences, among them, to the Instituto Tecnológico del Altiplano de Tlaxcala (itat). The intention of this article consists on showing this program achievements, and the aspects that favored or restricted its purpose.
